Several members of the Jaguar Hockey Club picked up a huge assist off the ice on March 21, when they shaved their heads to help fund the search for  cures to childhood cancers. Calling themselves Team Slapshot, the group of seven club members and one other shavee, raised $1,766 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation during an event at American Legion Post 1977 in New Lenox. Those participating included Jaguars Nick Crayton, Austin Parr, Gavin Borger, Cole Walsh, Zach Crayton, Brandon Weitzel and Caden Weitzel, as well as non-club member Chase Parr. This is the third year Team Slapshot has participated in the St. Baldrick's Day effort.
